Gulabi Warriors

The Gulabi Warriors are giant processional puppets symbolising Female Empowerment and originating from the women’s rights movement in India. These huge willow women were created by New Art Exchange’s YOUnique collective and they be took up space on International Women’s Day 2022 by way of a procession around Forest Recreation ground!

The Gulabi Warriors are a #PowerToChange project supported by @freelandsfoundation.
